If you already wear glasses then you unfortunately are accustomed to the frustration that they can cause. And this happens every day of the week, be it at work or at home, during the weekend. All you do when you start getting stressed by the lenses is clean spots and dirt off the lenses, it also happens more often than you would like to. Occasionally you’ll lose or forget them at work or home.

Indeed, contact lenses came in very handy when they first appeared on the market. They were an alternative to the rather uncomfortable glasses. They were originally marketed as a more fashionable and convenient eyewear solution. But it now seems that they can be even more frustrating than glasses. This is so because while it takes a whole lot longer to put the contacts on than it takes to put glasses on. It is a real pain to get through the morning routine, to daily cleaning and eye irritation.

So many people have asked me on numerous occasions whether there is an alternative to all these things. Well, to them, and all those who have not asked me yet, I gave an answer in my book. And in short, here, I tell you that the answer is: take them off!

Even if you have a prescription, and you wear your glasses all the time, reconsider what you are doing, because simply wearing your glasses is weakening your eyes. You do not need your glasses all the time. So my advice would be for you to use your glasses less!

If you have myopia and if you need your glasses for driving or watching television then make sure you take them off when reading or working on the computer. Wear them just when you need them. In the rest of the time, train your eyes. Exercise them to make them stronger. Remove your glasses whenever it is safe to do so. When performing work that requires a lot of close focusing, pay attention to the methods described in my Book. Do those exercises as frequently as you can.

The Best Way to Purchase
Unfortunately, we often don’t have time to go out to an office furniture supply store to look for what we want. Besides, driving clear across town, spending two or three hours going through different showrooms, does not necessarily guarantee you get a good price or quality made home office furniture. Nor, does it mean you can choose the office furniture wisely. The best solution is to buy your office furniture online. When you do this you can take your time browsing through different models, looking at photographs and deciding whether the dimensions of the furniture you like will fit in this space you want. But to get the right office furniture from an online supplier, you should follow these guidelines.

Design Trends
Look at decorative trends on the market today. Decide on the decorative style you like. You can do this past by looking at furniture and taking the ones like vest immediately, not thinking on whether they fit in with your office yet. Look at all the products you’ve chosen and you will see that generally they fit in with a certain decorative style. Choose the style, whether it be minimalists, old world’s style, modern or any other furniture decorative style. Write to decorative style at the top off a notepad.

Choose Different Models
Select several different models and save their online page and websites. Make any special notations or concerns you might have in your notepad. This way you’ll remember them. Print out the pictures of these models and highlight the dimensions given on the website. Use the tape measure to physically measure out the dimensions, as this will give you better idea of the space it will actually occupy. Have someone stand at one end of the length of the dimension links and you can stand at the other to see how much space it will occupy in your area. Choose the best options that it your office area. Write the models down that best fit with the dimensions you have in the office.

Colour Schemes
Analyze your office colour scheme. Place the printed images you are thinking off purchasing in the room where you want them. Write a title out with the name of the decorative style you like. Take these pictures to the wall of the office. Take the title of the decorative style you decided on. Analyze their style and design with that of the other pieces of furniture in the room. Compare colour schemes and decide on whether the furniture fits with the existing office colour scheme. Walk away from it all for a few hours or a day or two. This will give you out better perspective on your final choice when you look at it was fresh eyes. You only need a day or two to think this all over. If you continue to mull it over for days on end, choosing the right furniture may become more difficult.

Select the office furniture items that you think will best fit in with the style you want. Analyze the cost of the furniture, but be aware that when buying furniture, you get what you pay for. Remember that the better quality materials cost more, but also last longer. So if you plan on stained in business for long-time or remaining in your office, you want to get as much quality as you can for the budget you have. Purchase the items you want

There are many different kinds of sofa beds that are available for purchase. The most popular kind are those that are made of leather, more specifically the black leather sofa bed or the brown leather sofa bed. This is because leather is a very attractive type of fabric that looks good and can match with virtually every kind of decor there is. This kind of sofa bed is also a great addition because it does not look like a bed at all, and can even be used in non-casual environments, such as private offices or meeting rooms.

If you wish to have something bigger than a bed for a single person, then you can always purchase a double sofa bed. This kind of sofa bed is of course also a bigger sofa, and when it is turned into a bed, it resembles the same size as that of a conventional double bed. This is great for people who always accommodate more than one person at a time, and has the space for it anyway.

There are three major kinds of sofa beds, and these are the flip over bed, the fold out bed, and the drop end sofa bed. The flip over bed is becoming more and more popular because it is easier to handle, although these kinds of sofa beds are generally smaller than the rest. This kind of sofa bed does not have its own mattress, but instead the cushions of the sofa can be flipped over so that these cushions become the bed itself. This is great for people who want to lie on the floor due to back problems, or even as a napping area for kids.

The fold out bed is the old kind of sofa bed, although they are also the most expensive because they have been developed in a way that makes them available in entire suites of furniture. The bottom of the couch is the bed itself, and all you need to do is to pull out the bed with the attached handle. The bed comes with its own legs so that it is not on the ground at all. And last but not the least is the drop end sofa bed, wherein all you need to do is to flip a few levers and the arms and ends of the sofa stretch out to become the bed. This is the most space saving solution, and can also be the cheapest kind of sofa bed.

If you don’t like the idea of the Murphy bed, you can use a convertible sofa or love seat that opens into a double bed.  The Murphy double bed frames actually have the edge on comfort over most of these convertibles and if you don’t need a sofa in your office, it may actually take up more floor space than the Murphy bed cabinet.  But there are other solutions.

Futons are actually Japanese mattresses that were traditionally placed on the floor.  However the Western world has come up with bed frames for futons which double as sofas.  The futon itself is designed to fold in the center when the double bed frame is in the up position.  When the frame is dropped flat, the futon becomes a bed.  Futons are not inner spring mattresses, so they may not be as comfortable as other solutions, but they are certainly right for some people.

Another solution to sleeping guests is the air mattress.  No bed frame is required for air mattresses, they lay on the floor.  Most air mattresses are a large rubber or plastic bladder which folds flat until it is pumped full of air.  If you don’t have overnight guests often, the air mattress may be an inexpensive alternative to a guest bed.  Air mattresses can develop leaks which can be hard to locate.  They aren’t ideal for older sleepers since the sides have no firm support to assist in getting up and down.

Double bed frames are the ideal size for guests since it can usually sleep one or two.  It is small enough to fit in most spaces with minimal rearranging of other furniture.  The choice of guest bed depends on budget, space and how often overnight guests are entertained.  It may also depend on how comfortable you want your guests to feel.   If you’re afraid a guest may overstay their welcome, it may be best to let them sleep on the floor.
