Stress gathers if you use your eyes to look at very close objects during the day at work or at home. If you already wear glasses then you unfortunately are accustomed to the frustration that they can cause. And this happens every day of the week, be it at work or at home, during the weekend. All you do when you start getting stressed by the lenses is clean spots and dirt off the lenses, it also happens more often than you would like to. Occasionally you’ll lose or forget them at work or home.
Indeed, contact lenses came in very handy when they first appeared on the market. They were an alternative to the rather uncomfortable glasses. They were originally marketed as a more fashionable and convenient eyewear solution. But it now seems that they can be even more frustrating than glasses. This is so because while it takes a whole lot longer to put the contacts on than it takes to put glasses on. It is a real pain to get through the morning routine, to daily cleaning and eye irritation.
So many people have asked me on numerous occasions whether there is an alternative to all these things. Well, to them, and all those who have not asked me yet, I gave an answer in my book. And in short, here, I tell you that the answer is: take them off!
Even if you have a prescription, and you wear your glasses all the time, reconsider what you are doing, because simply wearing your glasses is weakening your eyes. You do not need your glasses all the time. So my advice would be for you to use your glasses less!
If you have myopia and if you need your glasses for driving or watching television then make sure you take them off when reading or working on the computer. Wear them just when you need them. In the rest of the time, train your eyes. Exercise them to make them stronger. Remove your glasses whenever it is safe to do so. When performing work that requires a lot of close focusing, pay attention to the methods described in my Book. Do those exercises as frequently as you can.
